Khandid, from candid, but with a twist: sharp-eyed, quick-witted, and unafraid to say what needs to be said
At KHANDID.STUDIO I use systems thinking alongside playful, visual and hands-on ways of exploring problems to help people and organisations shift from where they are to where they want to be.
Not through quick fixes, but through the kind of work that strengthens the individual, the team and the wider world they rely on to exist.
Hi, I’m Khandiz Joni
I work where creativity, systems and human behaviour intersect. My approach is shaped by a non-linear 25+ year career in creative and operational roles.
After a stint at art school, I began my working life in 2000 as a hair and makeup artist in film, television and advertising. Those years taught me to how to collaborate, think on my feet and support people under pressure. It also taught me how to read a room, notice subtle shifts in mood, and speak up about what matters. It was also when I started to notice how nature, and natural materials, can influence how we feel in our bodies and about ourselves.
In 2019, I retrained. First in sustainability business management (ISEP), then systems thinking and disruptive design. In 2025, I completed a fellowship with the Bio-Leadership Project, honing my skills on nature-centric (regenerative) ways of working.
I’ve worked across creative industries, tech, manufacturing, construction, social innovation, community projects and more.
People come to me when things feel tangled, fragmented or out of sync.
You might be leading a team, building something new or carrying responsibility for decisions that affect more than just your immediate needs. My job is to help you work things out in a way that strengthens you, your organisation and the wider world you’re part of.
Here’s what I do, helps you do:
See clearly
Understand what is actually happening, not just what is being discussed. Spot patterns, tensions and opportunities that shape your work and your wider impact.
Think differently
Use creative tools to unlock imagination, shift perspective, open up new possibilities and make choices that hold up under pressure.
Work in healthier ways
Put structures and habits in place that reduce friction, improve flow and give you and your team more capacity.
Act with integrity
Align your decisions with the impact you want to have on your organisation, the people in it and the systems you influence.
Evolve Constantly
Move towards the version of yourself or your organisation you hope to become, through practical steps rather than grand declarations.
